Abstract :
University patents are important to the success of university entrepreneurship. Their production seems to be associated with gaining patent knowledge properly, mostly supplied by patent attorneys. The issue related to the ways used by university professors to act with patent body of knowledge (PatBoK) has become more important to the success of university patenting. By surveying 111 university professors, it showed that patent professionals are the main suppliers of PatBoK to university professors, and only experience of patenting seem to affect such finding.
