Abstract :
A new PWM ASIC is proposed to control DC/DC power supplies for use with power managed μ processors. Compared with most existing commercial PWM ASICs, the new PWM ASIC is uniquely suited for the rapid load current changes in μ processor while maintaining high efficiencies in both light and heavy loads
