Abstract :
According to Maslow´s hierarchy of needs, the Sustainable Development Theory and the Theory of Urban Growth, this article which is based on the theoretical analysis of the function of the land-use system in urban residential areas has sorted out the function of it by using FAST technology and has preliminarily studied the calculation method of the functional level. This article has, therefore, drawn the following conclusion: the analysis of the function of the land-use system and the positioning of the functional level in residential areas, which are located in cities of different type and nature, are the basis for rational use of the residential land.
