Abstract
As the capacity of tourism resources to develop tourism industry and to gain economic, social and environmental benefits, the potential of tourism development is the application prospect of tourism development conditions, evaluation of which can help tourism managers to make reasonable decision of tourism development. Multi-level grey approach is the combination of the analytic hierarchy process and the grey system theory, which is applied to carry on researches with quite small sample and poor information. In this work, multi-level grey approach is applied to evaluate the development potential of Langshan Danxia scenic area, and the result indicates that it belongs to more-high scope. So the conclusion is that high-grade tourist resources are not equal to the good development potential. To strengthen the tourism development potential of Langshan Danxia scenic area, the tourism managers should not only develop the new product and new product function, but also develop the new tourist market unceasingly.
