Abstract :
This paper presents an approach based on Compressive sensing (CS) and wavelets for combined task of image watermarking and compression. CS is helpful to recover sparse image with a few measurements. By applying wavelet transform on an image, it can be made sparse. Further, wavelet transform domain watermarking of images is resistant to attacks. The proposed approach exposes the compressive sensing theory and wavelets to perform combined task of image watermarking and compression and its efficacy is demonstrated through implementation results on images in comparison with another algorithm based on the compressed sensing theory.
