Abstract :
Private colleges and universities have developed widely. Scientific performance evaluation for private colleges and universities benefits to strengthen the school management. Based on the performance management theory and real situation of private colleges and universities, a performance evaluation index system is established based on the balanced scorecard. The system is then assessed using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The practices have proved the feasibility and capability of implement of this system which has important theoretical guiding significance for strategic development of private colleges and universities.
