Abstract :
Mansour normal form has many applications such as stability analysis, model reduction and lattice filter implementation. The calculation of this form involves evaluation of Jury´s table and can be computed in frequency domain. In this paper, a time-domain technique for the computation of Mansour normal form is proposed. The technique is based on the solution of Lyapunov equation and UDUT decomposition, and can be easily implemented using standard functions in MATLAB.
