Abstract :
This paper reports experimental analyses of human´s skill of voluntary motion control by using mirror drawing test. The near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was used to monitor cortical changes in hemoglobin at an area covering the primary motor/sensor cortex in brain. We proposed an quantification index to evaluate the performance of the task. It can be confirmed that activation of a premotor cortex and a supplementary motor area in early phase and their decrease on later phase are the sign of the skilled process.
