A brief understanding of quality variation a comparison of training programs in FOHs and COHs in China

One of the key elements for achieving service excellence in all service businesses is appropriate training. Organisational goals can not be reached without qualified trained staff. This paper seeks to compare and contrast hospitality training system practices of Chinese Owned Hotels (COHs) and Foreign Owned Hotels (FOHs) in the Chinese hotel industry. It´s hoped to gain an understanding of the relative merits and deficiencies of both systems.
