Abstract :
OVSF codes are employed as channelization codes in WCDMA and to provide variable data rates to flexibly support applications with different bandwidth requirements. This paper present different four code assignment schemes means random scheme, left-most and crowded-first for this system and compare their performance. Also introduce a new technique that select the best method. The procedure in the selective one is based on using fast algorithm for low traffic loads until a defined load and selects the best algorithm for it´s best performance in higher loads.
