Abstract
Many of applications in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANET) are based on dissemination of information, so broadcasting is one of the fundamental services in these networks. Most of applications in VANET, especially safety applications, require broadcasting of messages with high reliability in different node densities. In this paper we propose a new broadcast method, which assures broadcasting of message to back and forward directions. To analyzes its performance, it has been evaluated by network simulator (NS2). Simulation results show, this method has high reliability to deliver message in both directions, especially in low node densities.
