Abstract
We propose a flexible post-detection scheme for Group Velocity Dispersion compensation in multi-wavelength Optical CDMA systems. The compensator is based on embedding a specially designed distributed amplifier structure in the receiver preamplifier. This results in improved circuit and system reliability and reduced production and packaging costs. Assessment through network modeling shows an improvement on the error rate performance of several orders of magnitude.
