Abstract :
Re-manufacturing plant is the pivot of the reverse logistics system. So defining the location of is the key of reverse logistics system analysis. In this paper, according to the requirements and characteristics in the selection of the location, a mathematical model was established based on lowest transportation cost. Then genetic algorithm was used to solve the model, and the optimal solution of the model was obtained by selecting the encode method and genetic operator correctly. The proposed method is also applicable to the selection of the re-manufacturing plant´s location in large-scale reverse logistics systems.
