            Abstract : 
In this paper, we report the SERS by optical phonons in CdS quantum dots. SERS is selective with respect to QD size. The radial modes in QDs are to be active in SERS. For maximal SERS enhancement a laser excitation energy should be blue shifted with respect to maximum of surface plasmon absorption.
