Abstract :
To maximize the economic benefits of the geothermal heating system, this paper analyzed the characteristics of geothermal heating system and summarized the main variables that affect the economy of the geothermal heating system. This study established a mathematical model of the geothermal heating system by calculating the annual cost of geothermal heating engineering. The mathematical model was then optimized using genetic algorithm. The conclusion drawn from the case study is that higher economic efficiency can be achieved by the application of genetic algorithm in the geothermal heating system optimization.
