Abstract :
The accurate detection of leakage signals is of vital importance for their cancellation in an adaptive duplexer. This paper presents a solution for detecting and correcting the leakage in the receive band from a local transmitter. It is shown that this method has minimal effect on the desired received signal while providing an accurate error measure for the correction technique. A one dimension search algorithm eliminates the error in 250 iterations, while a more complex singular value decomposition (SVD) method requires only 10 iterations. The disadvantage of the SVD is the need for secondary adjustment loops. The (W)CDMA simulation model uses a spread spectrum pilot
