Abstract :
ADC quantization brings the loss of ICR (interference-to-cancellation ratio) and SNR. By estimating the maximal eigenvalue of the cross-correlating matrix of the quantization noise and the interferences, the ICR expression is approximately given. Through calculating the first moment and the second moment of the output of the rounding quantizer with the additive Gauss noise, the expression of the Loss of output SNR is deducted. According to theoretics and simulation, it is proved that the ICR is barely influenced and the loss of output SNR is less than 0.1 dB when the quantization interval equals to 0.5sigma (sigma is the RMS of the ADC input thermal noise).
