Abstract :
Central heating is a key strategy of domestic heating system in China. The enlarging scale and increasing load of steam heating system provides great potentials in optimization of both construction and operation of steam networks. However, it is infeasible to implement big amount of instrumentations in field for industrial experiment and research. Therefore, model and simulation techniques shall be an important measure as guidance in planning, construction, operation, and fault detection of the system. In this paper, a steady-state thermal-hydraulic model of steam network in Tianjin Airport Industry Park is developed and validated, with which optimal operation parameters could be calculated for existing pipelines and reasonable parameters could be suggested for network extension and further constructions.
