  • Abstract
The results of research and development of the test sample of a radio-wave device for vehicle movement parameters monitoring are summarized in this report. The device has been designed for the quick and precise control of a vehicle brake system in stationary (at car repair stations, automobile factories) as well as in road conditions. The autonomous device consists of a portable receiving-transmitting three-beam monounit, brake pedal pressure sensor and a central unit, The radar monounit is based on the autodyne receiving-transmitting modules which are connected with three antennas. Each of the antennas has a 60/spl deg/-slope to the underlying surface and the second antenna is turned by 35/spl deg/ from the plane passing through the first and the third antennas. The aperture diameter of each antenna is 50 mm. The device is used as follows: the pressure sensor is fastened to a brake pedal, the three-beam autodyne radio-locator monounit is hitched to the side surface of the vehicle body by means of a magnetic system.
