Abstract :
Watermarking has been suggested in the literature as the most effective means for copyright protection and authentication. The main focus of this thesis is the establishment of the non-stationary Gaussian watermarking models, to the case where watermarked images are quantized before distribution. The hidden message carries RW bits per image dimension. Our main result is the determination of the region of allowable rates (RQ, RW).
