Abstract :
A concept for an ´intelligent´ diagnostic system for low-pressure spraying (LPPS) is presented. This system is able to prevent dangerous operating conditions which lead to partial or total damage of components. It also monitors spraying parameters and gives notice before these leave the well-defined optimum range, to ensure high and reproducible quality of the coatings.<>
