Abstract :
Sensor based assisted living application requires secure and high quality of service (QoS). In this paper, the proposed nature inspired threshold based intruder alert promises both secure communication and optimal resource exploitation. The three primary concerns of smart home application are, low bit error rate (BER), minimal distance, packet loss ratio (PLR) and speed of alert. The simulated application performance is based on prioritizing incoming user traffic and system requirements.
