Abstract :
The Yangtze River Delta, to which this paper refers, includes Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, and Jiangsu Province, where the wind energy resources are abundant and electric power resources are limited. Hence, there will be a bright future for the development of renewable, green energy based on wind power electricity in the Yangtze River Delta area. On the basis of summarizing the total quantity, the construction conditions and prospects of coastal wind power electricity for exploitation in the Yangtze River Delta area, this paper puts forward the following plan: 16 wind farms with an installed capacity of 1200times104 kilowatts will be located along the coast of the Yangtze River Delta. These wind farms will be integrated into 3 non-grid-connected wind power electricity industrial bases, which are the bases respectively in the northern Jiangsu coastal area, the southern Jiangsu, the Shanghai coastal area and the northern Zhejiang coastal area. This paper brings forth corresponding thinking of industrial layout to each base and measures taken to exploit wind energy resources, and establishing a non-grid-connected wind power industrial base is finally proposed.
