Abstract :
Demonstrated in this paper are advantages of two-gun design, on the basis of three types of power broadband low-voltage pulse amplifying klystrons for 5-10 GHz. Two-gun design provides considerable power growth without increasing of supply voltage, thus saving the basic output characteristics, which are typical for initial design. Presented here is our experience in design of such devices.
