Abstract
A neonatal incubator takes between 45 min to 90 min to reach operating temperature(25degC to 37degC). For emergency cases in hospitals incubators are kept on at operating temperature which implies high electricity consumption. We present a turbo system that allows incubators to reach operating temperature rapidly eliminating the need to keep incubators warm when not in use. We propose the turbo heating system to be used in parallel with the standard heating system of conventional incubators.
