Abstract
Service matching is a critical aspect in a loosely coupled virtual enterprise. In the meanwhile, most matching approaches do not perform well enough in efficiency and semantics. A framework based on capability space and manufacturing ontology is proposed in this paper. Using vector space, manufacturing service can be grouped easily according to their capability. Manufacturing ontology takes advantages of Simple Knowledge Organization System, a W3C standard, to alleviate the modeling greatly. The use of polychromatic graph in ontology definition makes modeling more dynamic. In addition, concept similarity is improved in the view of application. With the rough matching framework, virtual enterprise can select required services easy and quick.
