Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to design an autonomous garage parking fuzzy control system for the Mobile Robot. Based on the robot sensing and motion control board, the environment data are acquisitioned by ultrasonic sensor module and IR (infrared) range sensor module, then the fuzzy control module estimates the PWM (pulse width modulation) signal for the DC motor control module. Moreover, via WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) communication module and a Visual Basic language programmed graphic user interface, the completed system information can be controlled and displayed on the personal computer. Furthermore, a simulation program written by Matlab is demonstrated to indicate the trace of the mobile robot, and a practical mobile robot experiment is also realized to achieve the autonomous garage parking function.
