Abstract
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am delighted to welcome you to Dublin City University and to the 13th International Workshop on Image Analysis for Multimedia Interactive Services (WIAMIS), particularly those who have traveled long distances to be here. We also warmly welcome the students and lecturers attending the MediaSense Summer School, which is co-located with WIAMIS this year.
