Abstract :
Based on the geological and economic conditions, it is not realistic to get large number of geological data. Spatial data interpolation is the key for solving this problem, choosing a reasonable interpolation affect the accuracy of 3D geological model. We first describe the method for traditional interpolation to construct geological surface, and introduce the application of discrete smooth interpolation in three-dimensional modeling. Based on comparing the feature of traditional interpolation and discrete smooth interpolation, the method combing them is proposed, which ensures not only the accuracy of a single interpolation point, but also the anomalous band will not be smoothed. Project examples demonstrated the feasibility of this method.
