Abstract :
To improve the efficiency and the security of tripping operation and lessen the labor intensity during the drilling operation, the concept of using computer to assist tripping operation was put forward in this paper. It is also very useful to enhance the automation level of the mechanical drilling rig. In this paper, after studying the oil rig equipped with hydraulic disc brake and pneumatic disc brake, the control strategy and principle about drawworks & traveling block system is established and analyzed, the system of computer-aid control system for tripping operation based on it is developed. The key technology of software and hardware of the system are introduced briefly in this article. And the system is also tested through the experiment in lab and on the spot, which is benefited to increase the auto control level of traveling block.
