Abstract
This paper presents a personal motor roller (PMR) that can be used for transportation, sports or amusement. The PMR has two wheels in a single line, just like the rollerblade. The rear wheel is activated by a motor. It is composed of two systems: mechanical hardware and electrical hardware. The mechanical hardware is mounted on a boot that is worn on the foot, while the electrical hardware is attached to the rider´s waist. It is lightweight and portable. The maximum speed of the PMR is 2 km/h. The PMR is capable of going up the slope with an inclination of 10 degrees and speeding up and down by changing the position of the center of gravity of the rider. Through some experiments, the effectiveness of the mechanism of the PMR was confirmed.
