On the land resource management and sustainable development

The objectives to improve the management system of China´s land resources are: First, the coordination of farmland protection, ecological protection and the relationship between non-agricultural land; The second is to coordinate between the central government and local government relations; Third, to coordinate the public interest and the personal interests of farmers relations; Fourth, to achieve the sustainable development of land resources. In order to achieve this goal, we must reform and improve the existing land management system, gradually improve the market allocation of land elements of a mechanism, through the market operation and government co-ordination with two reasonable ways to improve the degree of intensive land use to achieve the sustainable use of land resources.
