Abstract :
As the national survey of pollution sources revealed, the proportion of agricultural pollution has increased, and the problems of rural eco-environment should arouse wide concern. As a major agricultural province, the current situation of rural eco-environment is far from optimism, which has restricted the sustainable development of rural economy, society and environment. To change this situation, the paper deeply investigated rural environment in Hunan to find out its main problems and causes. Also, it purposefully put forward eco-environmental protection and construction as the countermeasures to improve rural environment, which mainly contained changing the pattern of agricultural production and rural life, implementing scaled livestock and poultry, controlling non-point source pollution and increasing forestry carbon sequestration.
