The Strategy and Demonstration Study on the Interactive Development between Port and City of Huaian

The port city has promoted the development and optimization of the regional industrial structure with its unique basic resources through agglomeration effect, synergistic effect and the self-increasing effect of the city. And accordingly, the port city has become the mainstay of the regional economic development. Firstly, the paper has illustrated the research background. Then it has carried out macroscopic analysis on the interactive relationships between the port and city. It also has made concrete analysis on the relation between the port and economy of Huaian by correlation degree modal. Finally, it has put forward some policy suggestions for promoting the interactive development between the port and city of Huaian.
