Abstract :
Image rejection ratio in a CMOS double balanced mixer is strongly dependent on the balance between its branches. The influence of the mismatches is analyzed theoretically at the system and circuit level. Guidelines that show the maximum acceptable mismatch to meet a given image rejection ratio specification and experimental results are presented.
