  • Abstract
    This paper proposes WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) optical power allocation method with consideration of the OMI (Optical Modulation Index) to achieve each different CNDR (Carrier to Noise-plus-Distortion Ratio) of wireless services under total optical transmission power limitation for adaptive RoFSO (Radio on Free Space Optics) system design. The validity of the proposed method is shown by comparing with the case of identical allocation in terms of permitted optical transmission loss, permitted RoFSO link distance, and the number of transmittable radio services for a specific link distance.
