Abstract
Study on route choice in Seamless Transfer Urban Rail Transit Network (SURTN) is an important issue especially when the SURTN becomes steadily complicated. Analyzing major factors that make a great impact on the route choice behavior in SURTN, this paper puts forward an improved model based on generalized fare function which takes travel time, walking distance in transfer and service level into account, and develops an effective-paths searching method based on Depth Priority Searching and Branch & Bound Algorithm. According to the investigation in a real SURTN, this paper demarcates the weighting coefficients in the proposed model, and the results of case study shows that the model performs more effective when weighting coefficients is related with travel time.
