Abstract :
Suspended sediment of Case II waters is the important research issues in Yangtze estuary. The data of SeaWiFS (Sea-Viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor), installed on SeaStar, has been used to obtain SSC (suspended sediment concentration) of more complex and turbid coastal waters in Yangtze estuary. Then the author of this paper selected remote sensing parameters Xs1 and established the quantitative mode of surface SSC of Yangtze estuary. It has been shown that this mode could be successfully used in the surface suspended sediment inversion by comparing numerical data obtained by using the mode to measured ones.
