  • Abstract
The traffic micro-circulation optimization can fully utilize the capacity of road network. Based on the example of ZhongGuanCun core area including 58 roads in Beijing and its traffic organization problems, in this paper, we propose 8 measures to satisfy traffic micro-circulation optimization and then take the advantage of the VISSIM software to simulate traffic operation of the regional road network with survey data. The analysis of 5 different scenarios shows that the travel time and delay of the 3 arterial roads, I.A, I.B, R.1, decrease respectively due to the 8 measures and their road loads reduce 6.2% on the average, which means their traffic pressures are relieved effectively, while the branch roads just increase 7.06%. Moreover, this paper comparatively evaluates on the operation of the regional road traffic flow with different guidance case.
