Abstract
This paper describes the recent performance upgrading of Josephson voltage standard in NMC. It consists of measures to keep the frequency stability of microwave source within /spl plusmn/1 Hz, proper ways of shielding and grounding to minimise spontaneous step transitions during a measurement and methods to reduce combined uncertainty by 10%.
