  • Abstract
    A new harmonic analysis equipment based on wavelet transform (WT) and virtual instrument(VI)is generated in the paper, in hope of overcoming the disadvantages of traditional harmonic analysis such as low data processing ability and high-cost . We implemented real-time harmonic analysis for welding machine no-load voltage under this method. Compared with experimental data obtained by FLUKE 43B, this new harmonic analysis method gets the total harmonic distribution (THD) and amplitude of each harmonic content with high accurate. Furthermore, it has low-cost and high real-time performances, and it can be modified easily with the users´ requirements.
