Abstract
This platform was aimed to simplify the design and implementation of distributed real-time applications, and to provide programmers with a general framework. This platform consisted of event bus, data access bus and system services with open architecture. Summarized the components, and principal of the distributed real-time platform. Described real-time QoS services, the mechanism of real-time QoS mapping to OS and network layers. Discussed distributed resources monitor and assignment. This platform was implemented on True64 UNIX, and, the application to a real-time control system of power industry showed that the platform could satisfy the predictability, extensibility and high availability for real-time applications.
