Abstract :
This paper presents a new numerical algorithm for the critical transient energy with structure-preserved model in power systems. This algorithm is based on a BCU method of the concept of a stable region, and could be applied to system dynamic security analysis to improve both the reliability and the speed. Numerical result on IEEE 50-gen system is given as a proof.
