Abstract
The electric circuit of backlight operation has been analyzed with respect the impedance matching between the backlight of external electrode fluorescent lamps and a transformer of inverter. The resistance and capacitance of the system has been determined from phase difference between current and voltage and a Q-V Lissajous´ graph from oscilloscope signals. The coupling coefficient and inductance of the primary and secondary coils of the transformer has been introduced using LRC meter. Analytic solution of the impedance matching frequency are well in agreement with the experimental results.
