Abstract
Barks-pulverized coal combustion boiler furnace hearth consists of barks fluidized bed and pulverized coal upper furnace hearth. The mathematical models of barks-pulverized coal combustion system are very complex and its control systems are very difficult to be designed. In the paper, firstly, models for the combustion system are derived from zero dimension thermal transfer models of multiple combustion systems. Then, serial PID control schemes are designed according to the combustion process characteristics, and the fuel control system is taken as an example to be simulated and analyzed thoroughly. Finally, the designed fuel control system is proved to be highly effective by MATLAB simulation.
