Abstract
A kinetics-based dynamic model for commercial naphtha fixed-bed catalytic reformers is developed in this paper. The dynamic model is composed of the reforming reaction model, the heater model and the separator model, which is capable to capture the major dynamics that occur in this process system. The lumping details of the naphtha feed and reaction scheme of the reaction model are also given. The simulation results of the model are presented.
