Abstract
Nowadays, social networks attract an increased focus on the interconnection of collaborative enterprises within virtual organization, which necessitates the new highly scalable networking technology. Accordingly, this paper proposes a manageable small world community for collaborative enterprises. The small world social network could be constructed through randomly exchanging neighbors in an initially fixed regular graph. We discuss the community maintenance operations such as member joining and leaving actively or passively with some special considerations, and then give detailed experiments and analysis. Experimental results show this small world community network is highly clustered, short in diameter, easier to manage, and highly scalable.
