Abstract :
The wave-induced loads on floating docks are paid more and more attention. By using 3-D potential theory, the wave-induced loads are calculated using the scatter diagram of global water areas. It takes into account the spread function of waves and the degree of the incoming waves when calculating short term response of floating dock. The paper also takes five typical loading conditions to calculate the long term response of floating dock. It provides the outside wave loads for the whole structure direct calculation.
