Abstract :
Base on the condition that the physical model of transformer has been simplified as much as possible to maintain the original structure characteristics, the heat source and the radiation condition have been analyzed for the dry type transformer winding In this paper. At the same time, the two dimensional model of transformer winding has been established for temperature field calculation. And a simplified calculation method has been proposed for the temperature field of transformer. At last the calculated results and the simulation results base on the COMSOL software and the measured results have been compared. The simplified calculation method has been proved to be reliable.
