Abstract :
It is with the greatest pleasure that the Editor-in-Chief (EiC) presents to you this Winter 2013 issue of the IEEE Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (CJECE). Volume 36, Issue One, is the result of unrelenting efforts of a highly dedicated team of associate editors, editorial staff, and reviewers over the past year, without whom this would never be possible.
